Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
What you may and may not do with voice agents operated by Kilma AI on your behalf.
Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Kilma AI service, including your staff and anyone acting on your behalf.
It sits alongside the Terms of Service. Where the two overlap, the stricter obligation applies.
Your Responsibility
You are the controller of the calls we operate for you. You decide who is called, when, and what the agent says.
You are responsible for the legality of your campaigns, scripts, and contact lists, and for the conduct of anyone you give account access to.
Prohibited Calling Practices
You may not use the service to do the following.
- Call numbers on a do-not-call register, or contacts who have opted out.
- Call outside the permitted hours of the jurisdiction you are calling into.
- Record calls where the applicable law requires consent you have not obtained.
- Mask, spoof, or misrepresent the calling number.
- Run autodialled campaigns where the consent standard for them has not been met.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing calls.
- Impersonating a person, business, or public body without authorisation.
- Denying that the caller is an automated agent where disclosure is required.
- Collecting payment card, health, biometric, or government identifier data unless agreed in writing.
- Debt collection, political campaigning, or regulated financial advice without prior written approval.
- Content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates against the person called.
Agent Disclosure
Several jurisdictions require callers to be told they are speaking to an automated system. We provide configurable disclosure prompts at the start of a call.
Disabling or weakening those prompts where disclosure is required is a breach of this policy.
Technical Restrictions
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract model weights or prompts.
- No resale, sublicensing, or white-labelling of the service without written consent.
- No benchmarking or public performance testing without written consent.
- No activity that overloads, probes, or interferes with the service or its carriers.
- No circumvention of rate limits, quotas, or usage controls.
Data You Provide
You must have a lawful basis for every contact record you upload, and the right to share it with us as your processor.
Do not upload special category data, or data about children, unless we have agreed the handling of it in writing.
Monitoring and Enforcement
We do not review call content routinely. We do monitor aggregate patterns such as complaint rates, answer rates, and carrier signals for signs of abuse.
Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached we may suspend a campaign, an agent, or an account. We aim to give notice first, but we may act immediately where there is legal or carrier risk.
Reporting Abuse
To report suspected misuse of a Kilma AI number or agent, contact help@kilma.ai with the number, the date, and the time of the call.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as regulation and carrier requirements change. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect.
